In early 2010 we have formed an ‘Effective Business Unit’ (EBU) as our reputation and business continues to grow.  Martin Wylie has joined the team drafted from within the Brock Harcourts Adelaide office, bringing his clients across to a format that will exceed the high quality of service and advice Alex and Tiffany have been providing clients for the last 4 years.  Prior to entering real estate Martin spent several years with the Westfield Group after migrating from the UK. 

The EBU concept is relatively simple; there are numerous tasks to complete in any real estate sales transaction, some of which are administrative or systems driven, others involve strategy and negotiation skills. This mix of skills is very rarely, if ever, found in one person.  The EBU breaks the real estate process down and allows the best people to focus on the right tasks.  The EBU allows more time to focus on the property transaction than a single agent could ever possibly manage.  This ensures consistently high levels of service and results – nothing gets left to memory or chance and a drastic improvement in the one thing that troubles most clients – communication!  There is always at least one person available to deal with your needs – a long negotiation for another property or staff holiday doesn’t mean you are left with no agent when that time could be critical to your sale.

Attending Mercedes College for 13 years prior to undertaking tertiary commerce studies, Alex has achieved success in many areas prior to entering real estate. At 32 years of age, Alex has already had significant life experience. He travelled around Australia and Europe for several years.

As a result of this and also self financing multiple, elite, real estate training courses every year around Australia, he services his clients with natural extraverted flair. Importantly, he has a balanced approach to property sales issues. Alex Ouwens uses natural and learned entrepreneurial talent to negotiate his clients the best possible sales solution. This ability is endorsed by the Brock Harcourts management team by offering him his own franchise office back in just his 3 rd year in the real estate industry.

Martin Wylie

Martin is originally from Yorkshire in the UK, and is well known for his down-to-earth, friendly and good natured attitude. His strong work ethic and determination, coupled with his easy going disposition, makes him the ideal agent.

With a past history with the Metropolitan Police in London and the Westfield Group in Australia, he has well-honed negotiation and communication skills that have secured many successful sales for his clients and ultimately lead to trusted referrals – the lifeblood of a long and successful career in Adelaide real estate.

Martin specialises in CBD and fringe property, enjoying the vibrancy of the city and the surrounds.
